I am a woman who has been living in the GTA for my entire life surrounded by the city’s diverse and vibrant environment. Growing up, art has always played a huge part in my ability to express my creativity through artistic channels.
During this pandemic, it had given everyone including myself some self-reflection on identity and how one wants life to have a positive outcome during this difficult and heartbreaking time. Identity is the way we perceive and express ourselves and I decided I wanted to help individuals bring their authentic selves out of the closet.
I love making each piece of work unique to each person. During the initial planning stage, I like hearing about each customer's ideas and how excited they are on demonstrating those through the shoes. Next, the reaction I see from them when they receive the final product is what makes the hours of painting worth it!
