Riya Sharma can’t recall the exact moment she put down her adult coloring books and embraced something far more liberating-creating hand-in hand with her inner child.
Her work explores themes of childlike wonder and dreamlike dissonance, with a nostalgic palette designed to ignite a sense of wonder within each viewer.
Through her creations, she invites others to lose themselves in fairy-tale-like scenes, sparking a conversation with their own inner child who dreams in color.
“In my mind, spring is always in full bloom, and the sun never fades. If these images spark even a flicker of joy or a hint of magic in the viewer’s head, then that’s all I could hope for.”
